Winter Season

WOW! so many high expectations going into this season. I felt so comfortable and solid on the ski instructor I busted my ass last year for. A cabin in the woods, skiing every day and hey yeah; even teaching those little rug rats. Unexpectedly I got a huge flue and yes ladies and gentlemen I consumed about 4 boxes of cold and flu medication over those 2 months. My breaking point was christmas. From there my body went and the mind followed. its been a good recovery. Lots of climbing and something positive for those ladies… you can see that six pack again šŸ˜‰

Cheers WordPress.

Ottawa CPGA Tour Military Families open

I once caddied at a CPGA tour event one time, I was 12 years old and the guy missed the cut by one stroke. It came down too a few mistakes and one last putt at the end of the round. My passion for golf has brought me from carrying some pros bag to be able to shoot 75 from a 6800 yard course and pushes me to improve every shot on the course. This week the CPGA of Canada is at the Military course in Ottawa and is hosting the Military Families open there this weekend. Greg Eason is leading by 3 shots and will have to shoot a solid round to walk away with the trophy.

Dan & Anita’s Wedding

I had the great opportunity to get together with a wonderful couple and there family this past weekend. Dan and Annita got married at the stone bridge golf course and were surrounded by friends and family. It was a wonderful setting and I think they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Here are a few frames I got out of the batch that I took, Cheers.

Second Shooter Wedding

I had the privilege of taking pictures for a good friend and a beautiful Greek wedding. The other photographer was very kind and allowed me to get right in there and do some work. It was held in a wonderful church and we went down to a nice wooded area to take a few snaps. There were a lot of good shots and here are just a few from this wonderful day.

The Hole – Bate Island

Due to very high water levels this year, the hole located in between Ottawa and Quebec has been an excellent area for adrenaline junkies and wave riders to get there fix. Recently I found a group of men and women itching to catch that perfect ride. There were a few falls but other than that some excellent rides and the majority of them all caught the wave. It looks extremely fun and whether the water is cold or not these die hards still hit it and ride till there body says no more.

Calabogie Crag

One of the best places to climb within a 500 km radius. Good belay stations and the holds are all there. The lines are ecstatically pleasing and theres hardly any bugs. Today we did Three routes, Stage left 5.9, a beautiful 5.10a with a plateau rest station, and a 5.11a called Tampon Applicator. Tough problem to get to the top but the weather was nice and the rock was solid. Enjoy the show!
